THE JOURNEY OF FAITH

Esaie 64V8 is our case study. This is a reminder of who we are in Christ. In Genesis it is stated that we are created in God's image in Holiness, Righteousness and in his LOVE. However Sins broke that image, that perfect relationship which damage our life today.
In Esaie 64 v 8, God took the time to mold us and shape. "It is said we are the clay and He is the Potter". The ability to shape us and make us something new lies in God's hands.
God restores us and make us brand new through his Son Jesus Christ. Through Jesus death at Calvary, He transformed us. We called to live a life which demonstrates the character of Christ. A journey starts in the life of a christian after he or she gave their lives to Christ.
It is a journey with Trials, Challenges, Temptations, and Difficulties.
Through these God's refines and mold our lives.
1--Trials and difficulties allowed us to face, to enhance our faith.
2-The Word of God- convince and refine our understanding of God's will. The Bible shows us the direction for our life.
3--The Holy Spirit--convict us of our sins---leads us to righteousness and displays in us the Fruits of the Spirit.
5--Fellowship among believers promote, and encourage the life of the Christians
5--Prayer--when you pray--it aligns you to God's will and refines you with his love and grace.
The story of the live of Joseph as a whole illustrated these 5 steps. He went through betrayal, slavery, prison and finally reconciliation with his family. Joseph did not waiver God's plan. His faith in God gave him the courage to go through these steps.
In all, we need to be encouraged that we are not alone. The Holy Spirit is available to help and support you through this journey of Faith. God is committed to you and in you keep your eyes on Jesus, He is going to help and sustain you till you become all God have destined for your life.

The word of the day was and is "Discipline". It is a well taught lesson to the children about how this word will encompassed their entire life. Children usually do not like discipline. Some children want to do what they want and when they want. Be Vigilant

Revelation 13 v15 and Matthew 13 v 32-37 seemed to conclude the theme of the month. it is time to be vigilant because there is an urgency. Two factors are the primary cause of the weakness in some of us. These two factors are spiritually oversleep and procrastinating.  What is spiritually oversleeping? This is the abstainace from the studying of the word of God. This is the abstainace from an effective prayer life, seeking to know and practice the plan of God. This is the abstainace from your personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is your intentional decision in operating outside the fruit of the Spirit. This is your inability to discern God leading due to distraction and pleasures of life. It is your inability to accommodate things that does not glorify Jesus. A DECISION FOR YOUR LIFE - PART 1

Do you love your life? Do you Love God? After accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we become a new creature. What is stopping you to be Baptised? Do you want to be Baptism? There are 3 types of Baptism. 1--Baptism of water 2--Baptism of the Holy Spirit 3--Baptism of Fire. Baptism of the water according to Matthew 28 V18-20 is a public demonstration of your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. It is a visual testimony. Act 8V26-29 explained that you don't need a specific time to be Baptised when the desire, and the will are there.
